Frequently asked questions
How do I get my template?
After purchase, go to Purchases on Etsy and download the files. Open START-HERE.pdf and click MAKE A COPY: your own copy of the Google Sheet is saved to your Google Drive. For Excel, unzip the .zip file and open the .xlsx.
Do I need a paid Google account?
No. A free Google account is enough for Google Sheets. For Excel you need Microsoft Excel 2016 or newer (Windows or Mac).
Does it work on a phone or tablet?
You can view and add entries in the Google Sheets app, but setup is easiest on a computer.
Can I change the categories, currency or settings?
Yes. Each template has a Start Here tab with settings (currency, dates, targets) and editable lists. Cream cells are yours to change.
How do I remove the sample data?
Start Here explains exactly which cells to clear. Clear the cream cells only; don't delete rows or columns.
Is this financial or tax advice?
No. The templates are planning and record-keeping tools. Please check tax questions with a qualified professional.
Can I share or resell the template?
Each purchase is for your own use (or one business, as stated in the listing). Please don't share, resell or redistribute the files or the link.
